Dan was able to venture out today to do several things. He joined his wife and myself to visit a lawyer about creating a living will and giving power of attorney to his wife and myself. I was able to get a terriffic deal on all three documents, under $200.
Afterwards, we headed out to lunch at Saltgrass Steakhouse. This is a texas style resteraunt that serves outstanding steaks and fresh sweet potatoes topped with brown sugar and butter. The atmosphere is a dude ranch style setting, wood railings, bull horn chandeliers and on open fireplace for those cold winter days. Dan ordered an 8oz steak, with vegetables and ceasar salad. He was able to clean his plate, a good sign that his appetite is back.
After getting home from lunch, we decided to go see "The War of the Worls" with Tom Cruise. A great movie and an excellent remake of a super classic movie.
